Gabi is a strategic leader with expertise in research, policy, and strategy development.

She is the newly appointed Senior Manager for Climate Change & Sustainable Development in Eskom.

She leads this critical area in providing strategic direction and safeguarding evolving climate change compliance and sustainable development best practice for Eskom to maintain it’s social license to operate.

Gabi has held several positions in the environmental science space and particularly in air quality.

Prior to her appointment into the current position, Gabi was responsible for the Sustainability Department in Eskom R&D where she led the department to perform a multidisciplinary function which provides sustainable solutions to support Eskom’s business and operations through research, testing, and specialised services.
