Praveshni has over 20 years environmental consulting experience, as a certified environmental assessment practitioner, and having worked across most sectors. She has undertaken various environmental due diligence audits and reviews for mergers and acquisitions. Prav commenced her employment at Standard Bank in the E&S risk team, ensuring adherence to the Equator Principles for project finance transactions. She coordinated the bank’s initial TCFD work and contributed to the UNEP FI TCFD Pilot phase II work. Prav is currently based in the Sustainable Finance team in Investment Banking at Standard Bank, providing specialist ESG advice to deal teams and clients. She has experience in developing Sustainable Finance Frameworks, green and social financing, and KPI and target setting for sustainability-linked facilities. She is currently involved in the development of sustainable finance in Business and Commercial Banking with a focus on scaling sustainable finance for MSME’s.
