Silke has over 20 years’ experience of working in the energy sector, 16 of which as a lawyer advising clients in relation to gas, power and climate change issues internationally.
She advises clients on all aspects of European and UK energy law and regulations. She has long standing experience in electricity and gas trading arrangements and has advised interconnectors and other transmission and distribution system operators. She is the editor of the European Energy Handbook and regularly Y N 11/66493922_3 4 publishes on aspects of energy and climate change law.
Silke is a solicitor qualified in Germany, England and France and a member of the Irish Law Society. She is a professor at Queen Mary University where she teaches EU energy law. She advises in English, French, German and Dutch.
