James Brice is a Partner in Strategy and Transactions and leads the EY-Parthenon Sustainability practice, where he is delivers value through sustainable investment strategies and ethical branding. With a robust background as the former CEO of EBS Advisory, he has become an industry leader in ESG proficiency in Africa. James has accumulated over 25 years of experience in environmental and social due diligence studies, operational and risk mitigation strategies, and the design and implementation of ESG management systems. His expertise has made a positive impact on the private equity and financial services sectors, where he has served as the appointed broker and/or dedicated strategic ESG advisor for over 45 funds, asset managers, insurers and banks. James is powered by a strong academic foundation with an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Wits and a BSc Hons in Chemical Engineering from UCT, equipping him to drive future-fit business strategies in the sustainability domain.
